Here's a recent experiment of mine. Using a green laser thru a 27mm cell and projected on to a white screen at a distance of 1 meter. A 1T magnet was used to scatter the 'wings' horizontally. Notice all the activity! each little blip of light comes and goes in a random pattern, but there does seem to be some sort of 'wave' rippling thru the 'wing'.
