Magnetic flux line are passing verticall through the lens.

I find it amazing that the white light LED ferrolens of fig.4 depicts discrete RGB colored magnetic flux lines!!

This is because the magnetic field is very strong B=3,000 Gauss, meaning the magnetic flux lines of this field are very dense packed together and when projected to the lens because their close proximity there is diffraction and interference that causes frequency dispersion of the white light thus its RGB color splitting.

To the possible question you may ask, but if you say that the lines are so dense then why I see only few lines in the above fig.4? 

My answer is, because your brilliant idea you had to turn on only a small number of LEDs on the light ring and quite separated (see fig.5 below), which makes things much more clear (remember in a ferrocell only the magnetic lines of the field close to the LEDs positions are lighted up and made visible which is logical, you see only wherever you point with your flashlight). If you had used all of the LEDs on the ring then probably your display would be floated with lines and not possible to see something discretely.

I have some ideas here
It's about straigh and curved lines we are observing.
Electric current induced magnetism seems to manifest the straight lines, while permanent mag fields seem to manifest the curved ones.

I instantly think about bismuth crystals here.
Bismuth is the most "anti-magnetic" element known to humans. It manifests a linear imploding fibonacci spiral,
while magnetic manifests curved fibonacci spirals.

I believe, all on our makro scale, whereas I consider electrons still as makro in comparison to plank scale, must be resonant phenomena.
Just like soundwaves, or vibrating sand on a plate, manifest geometry through resonance of standing-waves, so it must be true for all geometry.

Here, the point of magnetic vs "anti-magnetic" (it's diamagnetic, but for the sake of the point I want to make, anti-magnetic is self-explanatory) geometries of bismuth vs mag fields comes into mind.

I think, there is an oscillation between the two geometries in all of matter geometry manifestation.
Just like matter and anti-matter would oscillate, I believe magnetic vs anti-magnetic geometries oscillate.
This also gives us the fundamental tools of curved and straight lines of nature.
As can be seen in all biology, usually the "sphere" or better the toroid in terms of energy dynamics is the must outer shape of leaves, trees etc.
Whereas linear geometry is how the energy bursts from one, into the many, just like the tree's trunk is the one, and then fractally branching into the many branches, which is also true for ever leaf etc.

The final expressed geometry of nature seems to be always a combination of both, linear and curved, or magnetic vs antimagnetic geomety.
I think this is what is the case here.

Google perfect bismuth crystal. It's an imploding hypercube, of which I think its an oscillatory conjugate of the toroid. Both are point centric, being able to resonate with Nature's zero-point electrostatic energy potential. Both include imploding geometries. Both are fractals. Both are fibonacci like spirals, one linear, the other curved.
Both must be the geometric result of their underlying superimposed bi-directional pulse/spin dynamics, the geometric resonance pattern of their standing-waves.

These waves are not classical sinewaves.
They are point-sourced pulse waves.

Just like SM indicates:
non-local charge dynamics (change) manifest the local 3D magnetic/anti-magnetic force field, that pulses from zero-point out into the sphere, thereby manifesting the toroid or the hypercube or the mix of the both, as there is magnetic, anti-magnetic geometry and everything in between.

And EM needs redefinition.
I'm not talking about classical EM.
As said, non-local charge within non-local electropotential is "the electric"
whereas spacial local magnetic (curved)&anti-magnetic(linear) force fields are the space volume itself.

There is no electric in that sense in our 3D universe.

Cool! Can't wait for your result with Bismuth in the ferrocell mixture.
I'm pretty sure EM is not only 90° in phase, but also 180° in phase, whereas the field pulse-oscillates (from point-to sphere, which ultimately results in the toroidal dynamics).
Nothing is static in nature timm except for zero-point energy potential. All dimensionally manifested structures that result from point-potential discharge must be dynamic/oscillating systems
If nothing is moving, it's because what is moving is equilibrated seemingly not to move for an observer, but it's still moving.
A permanent magnet ultimately is made from electrons, and electrons oscillate. To conclude permanent magnets would not oscillate whereas its fundamental (electron) is can only be wrong.
If we use modern imaging technology, the electron just like the magnets have "isopotential lows and highs", resulting in the onion-shell like geometric pattern that also would seem "static" to an observer, just like it would be true for permanent magnets and their onion-like geometric pattern of the isopotential lines also to seem static for an observer.

You could also assume electrons seem static to an observer, having a static wave-interference pattern, but the wave-interference pattern is ultimately from waves that interfere and thereby manifest the "isopotential field geometry". I imagine the exact same for permanent magnets. They have "isopotential low and highs" that are the result of wave-interference.
Something definitely must be oscillating, but we couldn't so far measure it.
My guess is, the 180° phase is oscillating like the point-charge electron would, and it's this oscillation that is the driver of the onion-like nested ring geometric wave-interference pattern true for both, electron aswell as permanent magnets.
As we only succeed to measure the 90° phase, we misconclude that nothing is moving.
The 180° phase is the dynamic electropotential charge/discharge of the energy field. The 180° phase oscillation is the equilibrium with energy poitential, whereas the 90° phase is only the effect/derivate thereof.
